Had the coolest tracking session with Matt Noveskey producing yesterday at The Recording Conservatory of Austin. Tracking with engineer Robert Sewell and Zach Castillo, laying down our newest recording Cars and Clothes. Doing it like the pros.
Matt Noveskey, Bassist from Blue October, will be producing a new track of ours titled ‘Cars and Clothes’ that we’ll be recording tomorrow at Stinson Studios with students from the Texas Recording Conservatory of Austin sitting in on the session. We’ll be like Rock & Rap lab rats. Awesome!
More progress being made on the “Explain to Me” video. Here’s another snapshot teaser. Keep those eyes peeled for it along with a few other things we have up our sleeve.
Got a fresh set of promotional CDs waiting to be loaded with the new material, Re’d up on shirts, and posters coming soon! Gone have plenty to flood New Orleans, ATX and everywhere in between with.
Just had an awesome dinner meeting w/ Amin Simms, staff member of SXSW. Gave us plenty advice to take with us for the Cutting Edge Conference and future plans for Austin’s own SXSW.
